V Spain–India Forum

In a moment of redefinition of the global balance, with technological innovation, ecological transition, and competition for talent as key drivers of transformation, India is consolidating its role as a strategic player in shaping the new international order. Its economic, demographic, and political weight positions it as a priority partner for the European Union and for Spain, especially in high value-added sectors.

Within this framework, and on the occasion of the Smart City World Congress, the Spain–India Council Foundation, in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council and Fira de Barcelona, is organizing the V Spain–India Forum, a high-level dialogue space that will bring together institutional, business, academic, and technological representatives from both countries.

Barcelona, an international benchmark in urban innovation, will host this new edition, which focuses on digital talent, scientific cooperation, strategic infrastructure, and the geopolitical opportunities India offers as an emerging economy and future power.
