US–India Track II Dialogue | Emerging Technologies and Supply Chain Resilience

This high-level roundtable, co-hosted by ORF and the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) will explore key issues pertaining to US–India technology cooperation.

Until recently, US–India relations were on an upward swing; and the early stage of the second Trump administration seemed intent on expanding science and technology cooperation, with a particular focus on AI infrastructure and bio-pharma manufacturing. Events over the last few months have, however, raised questions about the stability of the relationship.

The roundtable at will take stock of US–India tech cooperation as it stands today – with regard to domains such as AI, semiconductors, biotech, pharmaceutical manufacturing, critical technologies, defence technology and cybersecurity – and reflect on potential avenues for bilateral collaboration.
