The event will launch "A Decade of Doing More: Evaluating Development Interventions in India’s Rural Frontiers," a collaborative study by the Reliance Foundation and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). The gathering will open with a presentation of the report's key findings, highlighting how long-term interventions in water security, sustainable agriculture, and local institution-building have helped vulnerable communities in four fragile Indian regions transition out of poverty. Building on this foundational data, two dedicated roundtables will then shift the focus to broader, related themes in rural transformation. Guided by the study's unique, community-defined "Stages of Progress" framework and grounded narratives, these roundtable discussions will explore actionable pathways, climate resilience strategies, and the wider implications for India's rural development policy and future practice.
