The Balakot airstrikes, which were a retaliatory response to the Pulwama terror attacks, have reshaped the strategic context of the South Asian subcontinent. The main change has come in how India chooses to respond to a terrorist attack perpetrated by another country. However, these airstrikes have also generated an intense debate on their causes and consequences as well as about their strategic and operational details.

This event seeks to take the policy conversation on the Balakot airstrikes forward by bringing together a range of experts on the subject and generating an informed discussion on the topic.
