Mohamed Muizzu’s five-year presidential term in the Maldives will not be without challenges. This seminar will discuss the most crucial domestic and strategic challenges that confront Muizzu’s Maldives, including economic stress and extremism, and explores their implications. It will build on the findings of ORF’s paper, “The Challenges in Muizzu’s Maldives: A Stocktaking”.
