This roundtable will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming the global energy landscape — from optimizing grid management and accelerating renewables integration to reshaping industrial competitiveness and national resilience. As AI-driven data centers, predictive analytics, and digital twins become core to energy and climate systems, they also bring rising power demand and new governance challenges. The meeting will convene selected diverse representatives to identify actionable pathways for aligning AI innovation with climate goals — emphasizing responsible deployment, equitable access, and collaborative standards between the Global North and South. The session will explore how emerging economies can co-develop resilient, low-carbon AI infrastructures that drive both productivity and sustainability.
