Surat Parvatam is a Program Director (Research and Regulatory Sciences) at Humane World. She works across biomedical research, chemical and agrochemical safety testing, vaccine batch safety, and drug development. She previously served as Chief Manager at the Centre for Predictive Human Model Systems at the Atal Incubation Centre–Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB). She completed her PhD in cell biology at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai.
