Rupam Bhaduri

Rupam Bhaduri is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Disaster Management and Research, IIT Guwahati. Currently, his postdoctoral research centres on socio-hydrology, community research, climate science, and ecology to address complex transboundary water management and adaptation challenges. He explores how complex science is translated into policies and whether they are inclusive. Previously, his doctoral research at IIT Guwahati focused on climate science and decision-making for water-infrastructure development in the Brahmaputra River basin, critically analysing knowledge production and the use of climate data in policy contexts. Beyond these roles, he maintains a strong interest in socio-ecological research, with a particular passion for avifauna.
