
Rajeev Kumar Jha is a development professional with over 18 years of experience in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) across South Asia. He is currently Director of DRR and CCA at Humanitarian Aid International (HAI), where he leads risk-informed development and humanitarian initiatives. His work spans senior roles and consultancies with UNDP India, the World Bank, Practical Action (supported by the Zurich Foundation), and Islamic Relief Worldwide, including post-earthquake recovery in Nepal and disaster response during Cyclone Hudhud and the Jammu–Kashmir floods. His expertise covers DRR and climate policy, resilience planning, capacity building, and programme management at national and international levels.
