
Pragya Tiwari is a PhD Research Scholar in Sociology with the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Her research interests lie in urban sociology, feminist political ecology, gendered experiences and urban commons. Her work engages with questions of women, space, everyday urban practices, and the socio-political dynamics shaping urban transformations in contemporary India. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sociology from the Banaras Hindu University, where she developed a strong grounding in sociological theories and qualitative research methods.
