Nicolas Buchoud is the co-founder and President of the Grand Paris Alliance for Metropolitan Development, a think tank established in 2011 that focuses on inclusive, large-scale investment projects and environmental transformations. He is also the co-owner of Renaissance Urbaine, a strategic advisory consultancy he founded in 2006. Buchoud has extensive experience in public service, having served as a senior advisor to the President of the Paris Ile-de-France Region and held several other public roles. He is a member of the T20, a G20 think tank group, and has a strong educational background with multiple master’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris and Paris La Sorbonne University. His work spans across urban research and development, with a particular focus on sustainable urban transitions globally.
