Michael A. Reynolds is an c of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University, specializing in Ottoman and modern Middle Eastern history, Russian and Eurasian history, and the Caucasus. He authored the acclaimed book "Shattering Empires," which examines the collapse of the Ottoman and Russian empires and is a recipient of the American Historical Association’s George Louis Beer Prize. Reynolds holds degrees from Harvard University, Columbia University, and a PhD from Princeton.
