Lt Gen M Unnikrishnan Nair PVSM, AVSM, SM (retd) is a former Signal Officer-in-Chief of the Indian Army with nearly four decades of service in operational, intelligence, and technology leadership roles. He served as Commandant of the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), Chief of Staff of the Army’s Central Command, and ADG of Signal Intelligence. He later served as India’s third National Cyber Security Coordinator. He has been closely associated with national-level initiatives on cyber security, telecom security, 6G, the National Quantum Mission and crypto regulation, and is currently a visiting faculty member at IIT Gandhinagar.
