Katherine Alva is an international consultant in education and government. She is currently the Executive Director of PerTeQuiero a citizen movement. Previously she held the position of Regional Director of Education for Lima Peru. Fellow of the Distinguished Humphrey Program hosted by the U.S. State Department and alumni of the Global Competitiveness and Leadership Program at Georgetown University. Holds a degree in Law and Masters in Law Economics and Public Policy from the University of Salamanca Spain. She was senior coordinator of the National Education Project and Head of the General Office of Public Ethics Transparency and Anticorruption at the Ministry of Education in Per. Has also worked in the private sector in consulting and social responsibility.
