Emil Uddhammar is a professor of political science at Linnaeus University Sweden. He obtained his PhD at Uppsala University in 1993 and became assocate professor there in 2000. He has been a guest researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Workshop in Political theory and policy analysis in Bloomington Indiana. His academic work has taken him in projects to Africa India South Asia and New Zeeland apart from Sweden. His work focus on comparative politics development conservation management and democratisation.
