Christina Connett Brophy, PhD, is the President and CEO of the Maritime Museum of San Diego, California and a former senior executive at the Mystic Seaport Museum and the New Bedford Whaling Museum. She sits on the Board of TMA BlueTech, the International Council for Maritime Museums (ICMM), the Council for American Maritime Museums (CAMM), is a Fellow of the Explorers Club, Lead for the ICMM Global Maritime Refugee Project, and Editorial Board member of the peer-reviewed journal Mains’l Haul. She is the founder of the Connecticut Blue Economy Coalition and the peer-reviewed journal Mainsheet: A Multidisciplinary Journal of Maritime Studies.
