Dr Albert Chiang is an Officer on Special Duty at Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA), Govt of Meghalaya with primary association to the Meghalaya Climate Change Centre. Albert is on deputation from the Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Department of Biotechnology, Govt of India, where he is a Scientist in Restoration Ecology.
Albert received his PhD from Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR). He conducted his postdoctoral studies at NCBS-TIFR Bangalore and University College London (UCL), United Kingdom, through an Early Career Fellowship of the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance.
