Gnanagurunathan has recently been a MOFA Visiting Scholar Department of Political Science National Taiwan University (NTU) Taiwan.My ea nsearch has been Japans security and foreign policy and East Asia. Further I investigate the dynamics between technology and international relations. Earlier my stint as a Research Fellow at think-tanks Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) and Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) for about three years largely revolved around writingopinion pieces and organising events related to Japan and East Asia and South Asia.Last year I have spent as a MOFA Visiting Scholar at the Department of Political Science College of Social Sciences National Taiwan University (NTU) Taipei Taiwan. And taught a course Information Technology and Global Governance as a Visiting Professor at the International Collegeof Innovation (ICI) National Chengchi University (NCCU) Taipei.
