The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women in partnership with the Observer Research Foundation hosted the first ever Global Programme for Women’s Leadership (GPWL). GPWL is supported by the Centre for New Economic Diplomacy of the Observer Research Foundation and UK’s Department for International Development. The Global Programme for Women’s Leadership brought together over 100 young women leaders from India, Africa and the Bay of Bengal Community to host conversations, working sessions, field trips, and cultural immersion activities to provide authentic exposure to young women and prepare them for impactful leadership positions. read more...

The India and Africa Partnership for Sustainability (IAPS) as a platform aims to contribute towards the green transition of the world by aiding in sustainable policy deliberation and fostering innovative technology. The event will take place on 15th March, 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Building on CNED’s core value of strengthening “South-South” partnerships and fostering development and growth relationships, the India and Africa Partnership for Sustainability (IAPS), will bring together a wide spectrum of stakeholders representing government, industry, academia, media, and civil society from India and Africa; to discuss avenues for coordinated action on the SDGs and climate change. read less
