Understanding GDP

Gross National Product (GDP) has been the key indicator of measuring India’s economic growth since the liberalisation policy of 1990s. Post-demonetisation, GDP has become a political issue. This event will examine the concept of GDP in the background of demonetisation, its applications and evaluations.
