India’s Energy Security Prospects For Cooperation with Extended Neighbourhood

The study focuses on four countries – Bangaldesh, Myanmar, Vietnam and Iran – about which there exists considerable information gap in the public domain. The study suggests that there is scope for India to encourage its private sector also, to strengthen its search for energy security. The study also looks into the structures of energy decision-making in these countries and political imperatives of such decisions with regard to energy cooperation with India.
