Study of terrorism and insurgency in Kashmir is an essential part of CPCS’ executive programme on conflict and security studies (EPCSS). Since the formation of a task force on Kashmir in 2016, CPCS has been closely researching various dimensions of Kashmir issue, and has given recommendations from time to time for prevention and conflict resolution.
With this background in view, a delegation led by R.K. Arora, faculty of CPCS, and participants of the EPCSS 2017 is visiting Srinagar in order to meet various stakeholders in Kashmir, understand different perspectives, and comprehend the changing dimensions of insurgency — the threat it poses to India’s national security.
