Shaheli Das is a Junior Fellow at ORF's Institute of Strategic Studies in the East Asia Program. Her research focuses on the rise of China, the strategic priorities in China's foreign policy agenda and China's security strategy. Her other areas of interest are geopolitics of East Asia, China's domestic politics and India's neighbourhood diplomacy. Shaheli is also a Doctoral candidate at Jawaharlal Nehru University and her thesis focuses on 'China's Foreign Policy towards Latin America: A Case Study of Brazil, 2001-16'.
