June 29, 2012. Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in power & infrastructure contracting sector has secured orders of around ' 660 crore. The order includes setting up 500 kv DC line of around 167 km from electricity generating authority of Thailand. The project was secured under consortium arrangement with CHC, Thailand, with KPTL being the lead consortium partner. Additionally, it also bagged order for 765 kv Gwalior - Jaipur transmission line of 162 km from PGCIL of around ' 380 crore.
