WAGING PEACE: WATER ISSUES

A Track 2.5 dialogue amongst policy makers, academicians, social scientists, ecologists and even military personnel is a pre-requisite step between Track 2 and Track 3 dialogues. The primary objective of this dialogue was to bridge the gap between rhetoric and reality, inform the successive dialogues with distinctive social, economic and environmental narratives and facilitate the social involvement with verifiable facts of the matter.

MEKONG-GANGA DIALOGUE

The aim of this dialogue was to bring together from the Mekong and the Ganga regions scholars, practitioners, policy makers and others concerned with water-related governance and its democratization, to share their experiences and to explore areas of fruitful mutual collaboration.

CONNECTING THE DROPS

The objective of this working group was to discuss the critical challenges thrown out in the light of scientific and empirical data available. Scientists, professionals, policy makers and academicians from various disciplines were brought together for a roundtable discussion to discuss key issues under various themes of shared rivers between India and Pakistan.
